It's too damn quiet
Aug. 13th, 2002 11:15 pmWell, here I am in deepest, darkest Hampshire, residing in luxury at my parents' delightful abode. That's not meant to read as sarcasm, by the way. This place really is nice. It even has decent web access, so I don't feel too cut off. Otherwise it's about a mile to the nearest bus stop that might have buses that go somewhere. And it's quiet. Apart from all the foxes, rabbits, birds, reptiles, horses, deer, dogs, insects, and suspicious shapes that move through the darkness.
The tranquillity is almost unbearable.
