Go to Wikipedia and put in your birth date. Don't put in the year. Post in your LJ with three neat/important events, births and deaths!
August 22nd
Three Events:
1485 - The Battle of Bosworth Field decisively ends the Wars of the Roses
1642 - Charles I calls the English Parliament traitors. Beginning of the English Civil War
1864 - Twelve nations sign the First Geneva Convention. The Red Cross is formed.
Three Births:
1917 - John Lee Hooker, American guitarist and singer (d. 2001)
1920 - Ray Bradbury, American writer
1963 - Tori Amos, American singer, songwriter, and pianist (This makes me happy for some reason)
Three Deaths:
1485 - King Richard III of England (killed in battle) (b. 1452) (This makes me happy for some reason)
1922 - Michael Collins, Irish revolutionary (ambushed) (b. 1890)
1978 - Jomo Kenyatta, first Prime Minister of Kenya (The day I was born)
(EDIT: Some people had three of each. I have no idea why I the one I copied didn't, so I added some.)
