Here's an update, in case anyone's interested.

Gaming stuff )

In other news, I'm going to America tomorrow. Some sort of excited celebratory word seems appropriate... 'rock' or 'woot' perhaps.

I'll see some of you down the pub tonight, I'm sure. Apart from you, [livejournal.com profile] sea_cucumber - I'll see you in New York.

Guh. Weird dreams bordering on nightmares. As a result my mood feels tinged with morbidity.

Of course, that could also be fallout from the bloody and twisted WFRP session last night... good fun, although I feel a little guilty for driving [livejournal.com profile] darklittlefox's character mad in the first adventure.

I am starting to feel ill again. This pleases me not. Just when I thought my head was clear...

I received the new NIN single last night though. It's growing on me more and more (not really a great surprise given my love for the band - Trent could put rotten fish in a digipack and I'd buy it and admire his artistic genius).

Want the album NOW!

For those who are interested...

Well, we tried out WFRP second edition for the first time last night...

It's great! It's just like the original! Everybody's rubbish at everything!

(Apart from [livejournal.com profile] darklittlefox and his enchanted dice of success.)

It runs smoothly, and combat is fairly quick and detailed. Magic is possibly a bit too gross, but then maybe [livejournal.com profile] darklittlefox's enchanted die rolls made it look a little more powerful than normal.

It's the first time I've seen a petty magic spell punch through someone's spine, though... ah... those gloriously gory critical hit tables.

More next week, if people are around - hoepfully we can finish off the first scenario.

EDIT: Kudos also goes to [livejournal.com profile] thankyoukindly and his patented 'hold them still while a comrade runs them through' tactic.
